Data Policy
This Data Policy explains how iiniit handles data across our central systems and products — how it's stored, secured, shared and kept. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
Last updated: July 2026
01How this policy fits together
This is iiniit's central Data Policy. It applies to iiniit.com and every iiniit product. A product may publish its own data notice for details specific to that product, but this central policy always applies alongside it and takes precedence wherever the two overlap.
It sits next to our Privacy Policy: the Privacy Policy covers your rights and how we treat personal information, while this policy covers how data moves through our systems.
02Your iiniit account
iiniit runs a central account system at accounts.iiniit.com. One iiniit account works across our products, which means the core details on your profile — such as your name, email and security settings — are managed centrally rather than re-entered in each product.
When you use a product with your iiniit account, that product relies on the central system to confirm who you are. It only receives the account details it needs to work.
03What data we process
We process the data you give us (such as account and profile details, and anything you create in our products), data generated as you use our services (such as activity and device information), and data from providers who help us operate.
04How data moves between our products
Because your identity is central, some account-level data is shared across the iiniit products you choose to use, so the experience stays consistent. The content and activity inside a specific product stay with that product unless you connect them yourself.
We don't combine your data across products to build profiles beyond what's needed to run our services and keep them secure.
05Payment data
Payments across iiniit run through our own payment gateway, which connects to providers such as Stripe and SSLCommerz. Sensitive card details are handled by those providers; we don't store full card numbers on our systems. Our Payment Policy covers this in detail.
06Where we store data and how we secure it
We store data with reputable hosting providers and protect it with technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access for our team.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
07How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes it was collected, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
08Your controls
You can review and update much of your information from your iiniit account. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data — our Privacy Policy explains how these rights work and how to reach us.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this Data Policy as our systems evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
