Overview

Your mail, your servers, your rules.

Email infrastructure is one of the last things worth keeping in your own hands when deliverability and control matter. BoxMTA is an open-source mail server you run yourself — a complete system for sending and receiving mail, with the source in the open so nothing is hidden.

It handles the parts that make email hard: SPF, DKIM and DMARC alignment, smart retries, reputation, bounce and complaint tracking, and webhooks for every event. Connect over SMTP or the HTTP API, route per domain, and see it all in detailed logs.

Because it's open source and self-hosted, your IPs, your data and your routing stay with you — read the code, adapt it, and scale it on your own terms.
